It's been a very long time since I last posted anything on my blog. I guess one reason for that is because mine is the first blog I've ever had the pleasure to see, or read, so I'm not yet quite sure just how to handle all this success I have been receiving from this, my first blog.
This is actually the third time that I have tried to post anything on my blog. It's not like I havent' anything to say or to write about, as I am writing almost daily, adding to my autobiography "My Dash." There have been times that I wasn't able to write anything in my autobiography, due to all the goings on around me. At other times I may only be able to add a half page or so. And then there are the days that I'm so motivated that I may spend four to five hours at my computer.
As of right now, I've written around 340 pages of "My Dash." That includes 70 to 75 different stories. I haven't been able to add more stories to my autobiography right now because I have been busy as I have gone back to the beginning, page one, chapter one, and have dedicated my time as of right now, to just re-reading and editing what I have already written.
I have only a couple of stories left that needs to be edited, at which time I intend to get back to my writing, filling in a few more blank spots of my crazy life.
There have been several times here lately that I've told myself that now would be a good time to write "The End" to it, and close the cover. But, every time I get those thoughts, I think of three of four more chapters of my life that should be added before I can say good night to it. I can now plainly see that as long as I have breath in this old frame, I've got stories that should be told.
So, let me get back to writing a few more.........................................

My Life Continues!
I had a need to write about what
took place back in 1969 and 1970. Over the years I began noticing that I was
having a problem remembering all the ugly facts. I knew that if I didn’t start
recording the event soon, I would have forgotten more than I remembered. I had
to begin writing about it before it was too late.
After twenty-two years, I
finally decided that the only way I could write about that event, was with the
use of a computer. I’d never used one before, but I soon learned enough to
write about the “Last two years of my military career”. Those thirty-five pages
took me 5 years to write; and then it was only a rough draft.

Let's "BEGIN"
While writing my life's history, I've found that there is actually more to this life of mine than I ever imagined.
It wasn't easy to find a true starting point, but now I find it harder to find a point that I could actually write "THE END". I now see that as long as I draw breath, there is always something else to add to my life's story. Each day brings with it another story to add to my life.
